About – 3D Bible Studies

This website has been developed to share some of my discoveries from God’s Word in the hopes that it may be of help to others also. I have chosen the name 3D Bible studies to highlight three important aspects of our approach to the Scriptures:

DILIGENCE

Acquiring a knowledge of the Bible requires an investment of time and effort. That investment will require sacrifice but the rewards are eternal.

DISCOVERY

It is wonderful to have good teachers and I am thankful for those who have instructed me. But truth that is discovered through your own study is priceless.

DELIGHT

The easiest things to make sacrifices for are the people and things we love. Psalm 119 tells us of the delight the Psalmist found in meditating on God’s Word. We trust you will find delight as you give diligence to the Word of God.

ABOUT ME

By God’s grace, I was privileged to be raised in a home with loving parents who loved the Lord and sought to honour Him and serve Him. I was born in what is now Zimbabwe, but my parents moved to the USA when I was two years old. When I was seven years old, I put my trust in Christ alone for my salvation, and was born again.

When I was eight years old, my parents responded to the Lord’s leading in their lives and returned to Zimbabwe to serve the Lord as missionaries. We lived there for eleven years before returning to the States.

I decided to go to Bible college for a year to ease back into American culture, but ended up spending three years there and am very grateful for the help received at Emmaus Bible School (now Emmaus Bible College, Dubuque, IA).

Then I returned to New Jersey, and got a job working at a Christian bookstore where I worked for ten years. During that time, I was involved in a local church where I met my wife. We were married in 1986, and had two daughters. I also worked for two years for Moody Press as regional sales manager for the Northeast United States.

In 1998, we moved to Ireland to serve the Lord, first with an existing local church in Kilkenny, and then we helped to form a new assembly in the city of Waterford, where we have been serving since 2006.
